Adding to our selection of kids games is Kids Chronicles: Quest for the Moon Stones, a cooperative game of fairytale adventure and mystery investigation aimed at kids 7 and older. Kids Chronicles combines a board game and a free digital app. – – 1 to 4 players – – 30 to 45 minutes game time per story.
Play the role of Magician’s Apprentices and solve the mysteries of two kingdoms over the course of 5 epic stories. Accompanied by the faithful familiar, Nills The Moon Cat, you’ll embark on a quest to find four magical Moon Stones. You’ll need to work together to solve numerous mysteries and help inhabitants of both Kingdoms to overcome their problems. Each component such as locations, characters, and items, comes with a unique QR code that you’ll scan to access it’s information. When players arrive at a location they will experience vibrant 3D scenes featuring characters from the tale.
The game contains a double-sided game board that depicts the Kingdom of Summer on one side and the Winter Empire on the flip side. Additionally it has colorful artwork and good sound effects on the app and a tutorial if you do not want to read the rulebook.
