You just gotta love August in the Pacific Northwest. August is huckleberry season and yesterday was the perfect day for a trip into the mountains on a quest for the sometimes elusive huckleberries and for a relaxing game or two.
We found an ideal spot nestled among the trees and a small lake.

This is another of our favorite traveling games as it fits nicely in our backpack. It has even been to several destinations featured in the game.
Oh yes, huckleberries we did find and oodles of them!
