The game nominations for this year’s award for Family Game of the Year 2017 (Spiel des Jahres), Strategy Game of the Year 2017 (Kennerspiel des Jahres), and Children’s Game of the Year 2017 (Kinderspiel des Jahres) have been announced. These awards are considered the most prestigious awards in the board game world.
The vast field of games is pared down to three games for each category that will contend for their respective category award.
