Adding to the line of great games designed by Stefan Feld comes Castles of Tuscany, a family game of region building in the Italian Renaissance, 15th Century Tuscany. Compete to build the most prosperous realm as a powerful Tuscan noble in the heyday of the Italian Renaissance. Build, trade, harvest, and quarry to bolster the towns, villages, and monasteries surrounding your “castello”. – – 2 to 4 players – – 45 to 60
Over the course of three rounds, players will expand and develop their regions. They will build additional castles and support their cities, villages, and monasteries. They will have to quarry marble and farm the lands. Each turn players have the option to draw new cards, choose a hex tile, or place a hex tile to expand their region. Players can gain victory points, new abilities, and additional options. Scoring occurs after each round. The player with the most victory points at the end of the game is the winner.
