More new games have arrived just in time for your holiday shopping: Cape May, Dinosaur World, and Floriferous.
– New Game –
Cape May is a Euro style game. Players will work to build cottages and shops throughout the town. Shops will bring income throughout the game. Cottages and shops can be upgraded during the game to increase income and provide bigger points at the end of the game. The game is played over 4 seasons with 3 months in each season. Each player will have a worker that moves around the board. Buildings can be constructed next to the position of their worker. There are also places on the board to collect bird tokens to be used as a set collection method of gaining additional points. After 12 rounds of 3 actions each, players will score for upgraded buildings, secret scoring goals, bird sets and area majorities on the various locations in the town. – – 1 to 4 players – – 60 to 120 minutes game play
– New Game –
Dinosaur World allows players to construct their own dinosaur park. The park will include paddocks to house specific dinosaurs, attractions and special buildings. Once the paddocks are in place, dinosaurs can be acquired to fill them. Then players can use their jeep to bring visitors to the dinosaur paddock to create excitement, and eventually points. Workers are acquired at the start of each turn in a number of different colors. Each different worker can be used to enhance certain actions. By the way, dinosaur parks are dangerous. Either keep that security high or risk the chance of having guests killed along the way. Too many deaths can be bad for your park and lead to negative points. After 5 rounds the player with the most robust park and dinosaurs will be the winner. This game is big and bold with great components. – – 2 to 4 players – – 60 to 120 minutes game play
