Players take turns drafting colored tiles from suppliers to their player board. Later in the round, players score points based on how they’ve placed their tiles to decorate the palace. Extra points are scored for specific patterns and completing sets; wasted supplies harm the player’s score. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.

    New Game

Cursed Court
Atlas Games

New from Atlas Games is Cursed Court, a 2 to 6-player game with area influence, deduction, and hidden information.

A game of Cursed Court is played over 3 rounds called years, with 4 phases to each round. Each player will have 4 crowns and a stack of 20 influence coins in a player color. The game board is made up of nine nobles of the court and a variety of potential scoring spots. The objective of the game is to secure as of the many potential scoring spots as you can based on the limited information you will receive.

At the beginning of each Round adjacent pairs of players are dealt face-down cards that represent one or more of these nobles whose information they share. Additionally, at the beginning of each Phase one noble will be placed face up in the center. During each phase players will place one of their crowns and any number of their influence coins on an unoccupied spot or kick an opponent off a spot by placing double the coins. By the end of the first round/year their will be 4 noble cards face-up and players will occupy 4 potential scoring places on the board. All cards are then revealed and will be the basis for determining which potential scoring spots will score. So, hopefully, based on your shared secret card and the four face-up cards you have secured one or more of the spots that will score. Clear the board and begin Round 2 now begins, repeating the same process.

    Science Games
From Genius Games are these three science based games.  Genius Games is a STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) based publishing company.

Covalence

Covalence: A Molecule Building Game. This is a chemistry themed, puzzle style, cooperative card game where all players work together, attempting to build a number of secret organic molecules.  One player takes on the role of the “Knower”, who may look at the Secret Molecules, while all other players are the “Builders”.  The Knower gives each Builder clues that relate to their specific Molecule, and the Builders interpret these clues as thy arrange and rearrange their Element tiles, attempting to deduce the structure of their Secret Molecules before the allotted clues run out.

Peptide

Peptide: A Protein Building Game.  This is a strategic card game themed around how all living cells build  proteins.  Players compete to link amino acid cards side-by-side to build their peptide chain (a fancy word for protein).  Each turn, players make thoughtful selections from a limited number of openly available organelle cards.  Their selection rewards them with either resources or action. Final scores are based upon the amino acids in your peptide chain, and the highest score wins.

ION

ION: A Compound Building Game.  This is a card-drafting game about building compounds – chemistry!  Players are given a hand of ion and elements cards, and must select one of those cards either to bond to a card already on the table, or to set it alone.  Players then  pass their remaining hand of cards to an opposing player to start the process over again.  Points are scored based upon the type and quantity of neutrally-balanced compounds players are able to construct, and upon sets of noble gases they are able to collect.
