– Dungeons, Dice & Danger – an easy-to learn roll-and-write game by game designer Richard Garfield. There are four levels of play Annoyed Animals (novice), Clumsy Cultists (easy), Puzzled Pyramid (standard), and Defiant Dinosaurs (expert). 1 to 4 players – – 45 to 60 minutes
– Get On Board: New York and London is a clever flip and write game. The New York side of the board is for 2 or 3 players. The London side of the board is for 4 or 5 players. The goal of the game is to more score points than everyone else by picking up and delivering 4 types of passengers to the locations of their choice. Elderly ladies, students, tourists and businesspeople are all looking for a different place to be dropped off. – – 2 to 5 players – – 30 minutes game time
– Newton: Great Discoveries – a worker placement, resources management, and action selection strategy game. Players are scientists who travel the world to visit universities and cities, study to discover new theories, build new tools and work to earn money. The game is played over 6 rounds with 2 phases in each round. In the Action phase, players place cards on their desk (the Study Board) in order to perform various actions. At the end of the round they have to move one of the cards they have played under their desk: this card can no longer be played, but the symbol on it will increase the value of that action when it is performed later in the game. Players receive Victory Points as an immediate bonus, as income during the game, or from Objective tiles and Master cards at the end of the game. At the end, the player with the most points wins. – – 1 to 4 players – – 90 minutes game play
– One Deck Galaxy – a cooperative sci-fi follow-up to One Deck Dungeon! Build up a newly starfaring civilization from one homeworld to an epic Federation, all while confronting a challenging Adversary. Its multi-use cards represent both encounters/locations and the technologies, colonies, or research you can acquire from them. – – 1 to 2 players – – 30 to 60 minutes game play
– The Castles of Burgundy – A strategy game of building. Roll your dice to reveal your options and find a strategy that will lead you to victory. Whether trading or farming, building or research, many different paths lead to prosperity and prestige. Thanks to many different duchies, the game offers a lot of variation and challenge. – – 1 to 4 players – – 70 to 120 minutes
